What this is

Psychological coaching informed by clinical practice, endurance sport and real-world experience.

What this is not

The focus isn’t training plans or mileage targets.

If you need structured training support or performance planning, I’m always happy to point you toward people who specialise in that work.

What we work on

Psychological work, rooted in clinical expertise and lived endurance.

Identity

Who you are when the thing you do is taken away, and how to widen the answer.

Burnout

Recognising the slow erosion before the collapse. Building something more sustainable.

Confidence

Quiet, durable self-trust rather than performance-shaped self-esteem.

Motivation

The difference between drive that sustains you and drive that slowly consumes you.

Injury & recovery

Holding identity together when the body stops cooperating.

Pressure & performance

Navigating pressure without losing yourself inside performance.

The Process

A considered, unhurried way of working.

  1. 01

    A first conversation

A relaxed, no-pressure conversation to understand where you are, what’s wearing on you, and whether this feels like the right fit.

  2. 02

    Establishing the rhythm

Together, we explore what needs attention, what change might look like, and how the work can fit realistically into your life.

  3. 03

    On-going work

Sessions shaped around your life, training and relationships. Reflective, psychologically informed and grounded in real life.

  4. 04

    Integration

The aim is not dramatic overnight transformation, but quieter, lasting change that becomes part of how you move through life.

I will continue sessions with Neil because I feel very comfortable and because of how he has adapted to what I have needed in each part of my journey so far. I'm feeling hopeful about my future.
I thoroughly recommend Dr Neil Drew. He created such a safe, unstressful and conducive environment and atmosphere.
I appreciate all you have done; having a safe space to be emotional was very powerful for me.
